August 2011 News from CEA
Hold on to your hats! All indications are that the activity and change that have characterized CEA thus far in 2011 will only increase as English language institutions in the U.S. strive for mandated accreditation and as they and English language programs in colleges and universities, both in the U.S. and internationally, seek the continuous improvement and recognition that the CEA accreditation process embodies. By the end of 2011, there will likely be 100 accredited programs and institutions, with another 80-90 sites in various stages of the self-study, review, and accreditation process.
